Warrior of the Light

It takes time to put the armor down.

Gentle, gentle, the soft touch.

It’s been a war.

Some of the darkest days of the soul.

And when climbing out of the darkness feels impossible, you do it anyway.

One foot in front of the other, deep breath in, long exhale out.

A clearing just ahead,

one piece of armor is laid to the side and left behind.

Another victory.

Feeling the warm glow of light.

Looking down, armor still remains,

but the load feels light(er) now.

And in this life, more to learn and realize.

More to release.

Yet, abundant love is unfolding within.

One piece at a time, the armor is laid to the side, left behind.

No longer relevant.

No longer necessary.

Abundant joy captures the heart.

Spirit speaks clearer.

Enthusiasm rises, dreams realized.

Deep breath in, exhale out.

It takes time to put the armor down.

Another piece is laid to the side and left behind.

The load is light(er) now.

Warrior of the light.

The chosen one.
